Todd Ashton, Head of Ericsson South and East Africa, talks about digitization in Sub-Saharan Africa that is happening thanks to 4G bringing endless opportunities such as mobile money. He also spoke about how the region is paving the way for 5G, a technology that will open up for new opportunities specially towards businesses such as mining and industrial services.
Since 1 August 2020, Todd Ashton is the Vice President and Head of Customer Unit South and East Africa at Ericsson Middle East & Africa. In this capacity he is spearheading the efforts to secure the success of Ericsson’s customers through partnership and performance, the development of talent and the growth of Ericsson’s business across the continent.
