Pieter-Paul Mooijman is the Regional Vice President, Africa for ST Engineering iDirect. Prior to this position he spent several years as the Regional Sales Director in the Sub-Saharan Africa doing business development for Newtec, Globaltrack and Castor Networks. He has extensive knowledge of the African satcom market and technologies.

Paula Gilbert has been the Editor of Connecting Africa since June 2019. The South Africa-based journalist previously worked as a TV producer and reporter for business television channels Bloomberg TV Africa and CNBC Africa, and started her career in radio news.
