Joe Austin serves as Vice President of Global Solutions Architecture for Comcast Business, a leader in communication services to the Enterprise marketplace. In this role, Joe draws on his 20 years of experience within the telecommunications and cable industry, with over 15 years specifically supporting enterprise customers. Joe specializes in understanding unique customer requirements and working with them to meet their technical and financial goals. Before joining Comcast Business, Joe was the Director of Solution Marketing for Level 3 Communications, where he led go-to-market strategy and sales enablement for Level 3’s Security, MPLS, and Internet products. Joe previously held technical positions at Level 3, including the lead Senior Solutions Architect for MPLS and Security, Manager of IP Network Integrations, and IP Backbone Engineer. His cable industry experience includes IP Backbone Engineering with Adelphia Cable. Joe is a member of Cisco-Meraki’s Customer Advisory Board and Cisco Webex’s Customer Advisory Board.

Before that, he spent more than 11 years as an anchor, reporter and managing editor in television newsrooms in North Dakota and Washington state.
