Emma Collins is a Product Manager for Observability and Power Management in the Network and Edge Solutions Group at Intel. With two domains under her remit, Emma's role is to drive the adoption of Intel Platform Telemetry and CPU Power Technologies within NFV and Cloud Native environments. Working with a wide range of ecosystem partners, Emma works on projects that support full stack observability and also offers solutions for our end customers that help them as they work towards achieving their energy efficiency goals. Her work plays an important role in supporting Automated Network Infrastructure use cases like Self-Healing Networks and Energy Efficient Solutions.

As Global Field CTO for VMware’s Telecoms’ Service Provider business, Lorcan helps CSPs develop their digitization strategies as they transform to cloud-smart operating models that increase operational and energy efficiency, address sustainability targets and increase customer value of delivered services. Prior to VMware, Lorcan held senior mobile solutions and services roles at Cisco Systems, Ericsson and Nokia, as well as advisory roles to a number of private and public organizations, including ESB (national power company), HSE (National Health Service) and Telecom Infrastructure Project (TIP).

Sue Marek has been reporting on the telecom and tech industries for more than 30 years. Most recently she was editor in chief at SDxCentral where she oversaw all of that site’s editorial content. Prior to that, she was editor-in-chief of FierceMarkets Telecom Group, where she managed a team of editors and was responsible for the content for several of the company’s websites, newsletters, and live events.
